Glocal Aid supports families in India by providing access to education, addressing a cultural imbalance where boys are often prioritized over girls. At the Ebenezer school in Karwi, 500 children now study - 40% of them girls. We followed one of these families to tell their story. The film premiered at a charity event in Stockholm, helping raise several million NOK and enabling the opening of two new schools that will give 2,000 children access to education.
Our goal was to bring their everyday life closer to ours - to show that beyond distance, climate, and culture, we share the life. It’s not another world. It’s the same world.
